The Everest Summit Lodges is a love letter to the Himalayan Region that we have been obsessed with for the last fifty years. Nestled along the iconic Everest Base Camp Trail, our lodges offer you unparalleled access to the grandeur of the Sagarmatha National Park combined with the comfort of a home in the himalayas. This service started from my Father, Colonel Penjor Ongdi, in 1970 and will be continued by my daughters.

Since our inception in 2002, it has been an honor to serve guests from around the world, and to be a part of their memories.Trekking in the Nepalese Himalayas is one of life’s greatest adventures, and we are proud of our legacy of uplifting the quality of travel throughout this terrain.

Our mission with the Everest Summit Lodges is to provide the ultimate sanctuary in this high altitude environment, for guests to feel rejuvenated and refreshed for the days’ adventure ahead, and to curate memories of this journey to remember for a lifetime.

Our Parent Company, International Trekkers, was one of the first adventure travel outfitters in this region, and we have served over 50,000 trekkers since our inception in 1970, especially through our partnership with renowned travel societies, like the German Alpine Club with over 1 million active members. In partnership with the International trekkers, we offer fully serviced trekking programs, which can all be tailor made to make your journey exquisite into the heart and home of the Himalayas exquisite.
